OOC:// This is between Draconis and I. ouo Blast and Dust, funfunfun~ The branches twisted crooked and deformed, the leaves were long gone. All the trees looked like this, eerie in the night and even stranger looking during the day. It was as if a monster twisted the branches and ripped the leaves off itself. But monsters were a myth, were they not? Dead grass, brittle and yellow covered this small area, off to the side was a large tree stump. Upon this tree stump was a figuire, a canine by the appearance. Thick, off-white fur bristled slightly, black ears twitching. A vast amount of black feathers scattered around the tree stump. The squawking of a bird suddenly erupted as it fought for it's freedom. A cruel smirk played upon her muzzle, watching as it tried to fly. It's wings had been snapped with ease, all it was able to do was hobble along. The alpha toppled the bird sideways, it continued to hobble. Leapting from her perch, Dust closed in on the bird. Continuing to bat it around like the toy it was.

Blast stalked through the tall grass by the river. He was curious as to what lie on the other side of Shadow hiv's territory. /Probably just weak, pathetic animals./ Blast snickered at the thought. He bent his black neck down and drank from the river. Cool, refreshing water filed his mouth. Blast tensed at the sight of his reflection. For some strange reason, the great grey wolf hated water. He enjoyed fire more. Perhaps it was because he loved to destroy. He himself did not know why this was so.
Blast turned away from the river and slowly walked back towards his leader, Dust. His muscles on the legs and shoulders flexed with each paw meeting the ground. He was very impressed by Dust, and love her attitude. He himself did not 'love' her, but he respected her. Blast laughed at the thought of 'love'. /There is no such thing. Only weaklings believe in that non-sense. / His left, snow white ear made a slight twitch after a dead leaf brushed against it smoothly. Flinching his ear always made him remember the tags. Blast growled at himself. /Humans.../.
Blast began to walk slightly faster, his right black leg brushed softly against a brown bush. He flinched as his back left black toe stepped onto a thorn bush. he sighed and knew he need to get the silly thing out. He then sat on the dirt covered ground, his tail slightly brushing it. He lifted his black paw and positioned his mouth over the thorn. Once he found a grip, he pulled it out with ease. Blast spit it out, annoyed by the time wasted. A small drop of blood fell on the ground, and Blast got excited. He loved the smell of blood, even his own. He made a slight smirk with his grey-ish white muzzle and continued forward. Blast eventually arrived up to Dust, his blood red eyes stared into the some-what white wolf with no emotion. "Forgive me for being late, bate there was a rather pitiful delay." He snickered.

Her ears flicked back, a black paw stomping down on the bird's broken wing. It struggled beneath her weight, but she paid no mind to it. "You are late." She snapped back, watching Blast cautiously. A pitiful reason, was no excuse.
"If you want to keep your position, be here when I say so." The words were followed by the chirping of the crow. A flurry of feathers flying from it as it continued to struggle for it's own life. Dust snapped up the bird, throwing it at Blast. It was no use to her any more, the wings were broken and it only made annoying noises. Walking back to the tree stump, she hopped up. "Have you heard any activity from those fools acorss the river?" Dust asked, eyes widening with curiosity.

Blast's white ear flicked. "Of course. I did not mean that delay to be an excuse, jus to clarify." Blast stopped and decided to shut up before he got pawed in the face. /That would be rather entertaining./ He stared down at the pathetic thing that was a crow. He was so tempted to rip it to shreds, but it could make a rather big mess of thing. /And it might piss Dust off./ Blast shrugged and instantly went for the bird's jugular, ripping the head right off the body. Blast shook his head, disgusted by the taste. "That blood is tainted by the hills...no despair of any kind," he mumbled to himself. He stared at dust in the eyes as she waited for a response. He made a rather cruel chuckle. "The only activity I have heard is the activity of them ravishing each other. It was disgusting. So much happiness is so...weak. I do not pity them, for they chose to be so. Oh how I would love to bring despair into their hearts." Blast smiled at himself.

She listened to him, displeased by the lack of news. Ears flicked back slightly, having watched the bird become nothing. "You seem to be only good for killing." Dust taunted, rising to her paws and nearing the male. Cold eyes fixated upon him, staring him down. "They are only happy, because they are foolish." Dust told him, turning her back to him and seating herself.
"That pack of mutts do not know of the lands they could claim. Expansion." Dust almost whispered the last word. Having more land would mean having more prey and a larger park. All these things would have hopefully advanced pack. But no, Dust was still unable to strike down the Cross Roads and their alphas. A "Hmph." Came at such a thought, foolish wolves. "I should know better than to rely on you, Blast, for news. You are, but only good for killing." She repeated once more, her tone taunting the male.

From any other wolf, Blast would have attacked for the remark Dust had stated. But because Dust was in charge, he had to listen. "Is that not why I am here? To bid your killing? Besides, you know I much rather enjoy that than do silly info gathering. " instantly regretting it, Blast believed that he was to be pawed in the face for the smart remark. He made a slight sigh and glanced around the area with his blood-red eyes. "Of course they could, but you said so yourself. They are foolish, and because of that, they do not realize they have that ability to expand. They rather live in what they call 'happiness'." He tensed at the scent of a rather skinny rabbit. It was not far, and he was hungry. Blast bounded after it, the rabbit only being a few feet away. Being his slow and non-quiet self, the rabbit smelt Blast before he even had the chance to kill it, and hopped away. Blast growled in frustrations. "DAMN!"

With a burst of speed, Dust darted after the skinny hare with ease. It had a head start, but it was only a minor one. With one lucky leapt, the small canine was upon the hare. The two turned into a tangled mess of snapping jaws and flailing limbs. Dust finally laid down, the hare clawing at the ground, trapped beneath the female. Her paws pressed upon it's skull, petting it carefully.
"Come get this, pup." She snapped at Blast, continuing to stroke the hare with a paw. It was unharmed for the most part, maybe a minor heart attack from all this. Her bushy tail skimmed across the ground, watching the rabbit's tiny front paws claw for freedom. It was soft, Dust silently enjoying it's luxurious coat.

Blast ignored Dust's remark. "Why did you capture it. I could have gotten myself you know." he hated how he was so slow, but he would have to deal. Blast walked over to the rabbit and grabbed it by the scruff. The rather small meal squirmed in his jaws, hoping for escape. The feeling off it made blast's spine tingle.
He walked a good 6 feet away from Dust and positioned his mouth over the tiny creature. /So helpless.../ Blast slowly bit down on the neck, awaiting for the hare to go limp. He wanted it to suffer, even this tiny little thing. The hare began to make a squeal of pain. Irritated, Blast finished the job by severing the small jugular. He immediately began devouring it. In a good five minutes, the hare was completely gone, bones and everything. This was just another thing of blast that was caused by the humans,

"You take too long to catch things." Dust snapped back, turning to avert her gaze skywards. The fluffy clous, so lazy. Her ears flicked at the screeches of the hare, but she'd grown far used to it by now. "I have heard, that a cougar favors Cross Roads." Dust snarled suddenly, her eyes snapping to Blast with a vicious look.
She drew alarmingly close, her own nose inches away from the side of Blast's muzzle. "Do you know, how much this annoys me- Blast?" The answer was terribly obvious. She spoke of Kohen, who she'd heard of before but had paid no mind to it. No, not until she'd seen him treading close to the river. "He's monsterous, simply massive- And they have him." The canine hissed, irate at this sudden burst of thoughts.

Blast nodded, his mouth full of rabbit blood. "Of course I do Dust. The insolent fool would rather pick sides with the weak other than the strong." Blast made no attempt to step away from Dust. Doing so could end with a big gaping wound in his face. The odd itch that filled his white ear began to activate at this bad time. He was so tempted to scratch it, but doing so could be fatal is Dust reacts to him doing so. His red eye, full of hate, twitched.

She whirled around, back facing him as a cold glare set into her features. "Such power, but foolish he is, lack of knowledge is no use to us." She thought aloud, trying to ease her own anger. Teeth tightly clenched, a venemous look crossing over her eyes. "Tris, Tris, Tris." The female crooned, as if the Alpha herself was seated infront of her.
"Such a foolish creature, flitting about like a butterfly." Dust's tone was like that of when she was charming a stranger. A tone very unlike her usual, smooth to the sound laced with some sort of wanting hints. The small canine paced to and fro, slowly her anger was decreasing, calming herself down as she let her thoughts spew from her lips. "So unaware, it's sickening." A contradicting mix of Dust's usual tone and the charming one were used, the canine seated herself beside Blast. Leaning on the male's massive frame, staring at the foliage.
"I'm never sure how they've survived this long, even after the fire." The thought of that wasted land, brought joy to Dust. The ashes, the scent, the thought of the raging monster known to be fire that surged through the land then died away as it pleased. Beautiful.

Blast smirked at Dust's thoughts. Irritated, Blast scratched his white ear. One of his large claws, stuck in a tag, made a slight rip. "YEOW!!! SON OF..." he stopped himself before he irritated Dust even more. Blast sighed and thought of the fire that burned. "That was such a beautiful image, watching the pitiful forest die. All the same little creatures, withering in pain as they burned till death." he chuckled at the though. He glanced at Dust with a tired look. He dared not ask aloud if he could sleep, but he asked with eye contact.
