Walking along the grassy hills, a multicolored figure could be seen walking in the pack's territory. The she-wolf's crystal blue eyes dashed side to side, afraid of any attacks from a pack wolf. The Great Planes wolf known as Lune, was curious as to how big the pack was that lived here. She was sort of a scrawny wolf. She always looked skinny and small to other wolves, which is why she was always run out of other's territories. Lune heard about the Cross Roads pack, and she was rather interested in meeting them. Lune had some back-leg muscles, but they only helped her gain speed when she ran.
Coming upon what seemed like a stronger scent of the pack, Lune dropped her yellow, brown tail in between her legs. She was afraid, but not terrified.

Lune would hear barking perhaps, Set, foolish, innocent Set is at a pine tree. They are near enough his normal home that he's out in the hills. He's barking at a squirrel which he's chased, it's hurt, and he hopes to eat it. Were Lune to come upon him she's see a handsome fellow, white with brown tips on much of his hair and rich brown eyes that are locked on his offending target. He's loud and while barking and growling his tail is waving wildly from side to side. He stops enough to mutter "Lord Earth preserve me, when it will come down..." Cross roads allowed the fool hardy beast to live with them. He stays along the River much of teh time, or down by the lake.

At the sound of barking, Lune took s step back. /Maybe I should turn back and just continue to wander,/ she thought. Lune shook her head and tensed up, hoping to seem proud. /I will not back down. I have come to far to chicken out like a coward./ She began to trot towards the barking, the grass under her feet made swish sounds. As she approached what she thought was a pack member, she was not impressed by the medium sized wolf. /Why was I afraid of this?/ She walked up to Set as she pulled her crimson red ears back. Lune stared at him. "Are you apart of the pack that lives here?" she asked in a sweet tone.

Set drops back to all fours at the ladies voice and turns around to see her. Her smell tells him what she is, before her words clarify it. A Stranger. "My dear pretty lady, I am a pack member of those who live here. Cross Roads by name, and gracious in their friendship." He dips his head, ears still forward and looks at her from there before straitening, "May I ask what brings someone as fetching as yourself sweet lady to this patch of land?" he says, his voice is sweet and mild, neither high nor low, but loud. He is loud, even in his stance when he is not speaking.

Lune chuckled at Set's words. /He's sweet.../ "I...I was just curious about the pack. I..I heard many things from a bird friend of mine. I believe his name was...Reed...Mead..or wait! Greed, that was it." she paused and gazed into the sky, wishing it was nightfall. "My name is Lune, but some call me Luna." She looked back into Set's eyes.

'A moon daughter' as the earth had told him. "I am Seti, though most call me Set, sweet Luna. I do not know of a bird, but I know some of this pack here. I can take you to meet one of the Alphas, if you like, they permit loners, provided they don't hurt those of the pack, but they accept anyone it seems. For one so stunning as yourself I am sure they would be glad to have you here." He takes a step back and bends into a graceful bow, pointing north east with his nose.

Chuckling again, Lune tilted her head to the side. "Why do you speak to me like that? I am a loner that you have just meet. Do you talk to all females such as this?". Forgetting to answer the question, Lune's ears were laid back, her tail fell. "I...I guess so if they are as nice as you say they are."

Set cocked his head off to the side "How so? Do I offend? I'm sorry." his ears flick back but still he carries on "I cannot help when I see a pretty lady, she deserves to know it." despite his down turned ears he is standing confidently, though friendly.

Lune shook her head slightly. "No, it is not. I was just curious." She shifted her wait. "Are we going to your Alphas or no? I am rather sketchy of it, but I will gladly go." Lune looked once more into the sky, her crystal blue eyes scanning it. "Oh, if only the moon were out, I would feel much more confident."

Set nodded and started off at an easy trot, nose to the sky he called for his Alphas, hoping for one or the other, maybe both if they were lucky. "No worries, they are friendly, Tris and Aethon are sweet."
It would be a while, but they would come across Tris, who was resting, sleeping curled in a patch of sunlight taking her time being alone. She looked like a large red fox, but Set stopped near her anyway and whispered, which sounded more like normal talking "This is Tris, don't worry, go say hello."
Tris was awakened by Set's voice, being a familiar one, though not as often heard she was not rushed to rise, but seeing a new face did get up, and dip her head in greeting. "I'm sorry, I was not aware that I had company! Please forgive me that." she looked at the new face, a pretty female sure enough, she wondered how Lune came into Set's company. "I am Tris, though I am sure he told you?" Set on his part was quiet, but dancing from paw to paw, excited to help do something.

Lune pulled her one ear back, still slightly afraid. She approached Tris slowly, her tail swishing to Set for comfort. /I trust him, but I don't know why../ "H..hello Tris. My name is Lune, or Luna to others. I...I was exploring the area when I ran into Set." She glanced at him quickly, then back to Tris. "I..I did not mean to intrude on your territory. Please forgive me..." she bowed her head, Lune's floppy ear flopped as she did so.

Tris chuckled at her nervousness, not to be mean, but she found it cute. "There is no need to be nervous. If I know Set he talked to the moon about how nice we are. Lune, or Luna, tell me which do you prefer? I need to make sure the rest of your pack knows what you'd like to hear when we call your name." she says in a friendly manner, her voice holding back a bubble of laughter. She takes in the little details of the larger fem, wondering, but never pressing to know about another's history. Each in their own time share their tales, in some manner.

Sighing, Lune looked up to Tris. "I...I guess I would rather be called Luna. I...I received that name from my mother, because I was born under a full moon." Lune had that strange urge to bite her foot, but she didn't. Lune did not want to be rude. She made a quick glance to Set, taking in details of the flirtatious male. /Well, he has a rather beautiful coat.../ She giggled then looked back to Tris.

Set's tail is waving, his ears are up, his brown eyes bright. Luna, the full moon! Indeed this was a sign! He silently thanked the earth for this, as he watched his Alpha and new pretty friend.
Tris nodded "Luna it shall be then dear. If Set happens to pester to much don't mind him, he's very friendly is all." she turns a little to Set himself "And thank you for bringing her Set, you've done well."
The praise sends Set to a fit of being shy and he scuffs his paws but nods "Aye My Lady, This pretty stranger just happened into where I was, and I could not leave so nice a visage to be lost. Though her bright personality I've yet to see full would surely shows us where she may be come night." he says wax poetic, meaning his words. He means what he speaks, but does seem to lay it on thickly.

Excited, Lune wagged her multi-colored tail. She bowed her head in thanks to Tris and jumpily walked towards a small tree with some shade. Her ripped ear flopped about while her perfectly fine one stood straight up and relaxed. She finally meet some wolves who accepted her for who she was. Approaching the shade, Lune made a quick and happy howl. She sat down and watched set, her crystal blue eyes were curiously fixed on the male wolf.
