[glow=green,2,300]Chaos frowned at Eira, a little annoyed. It was weird how he acted yes, one minute he'd be happy, the next angry, but it was what made him Chaos. Upon the scent becoming stronger, the white wolf stopped in his tracks. Though this loner could as well be just as friendly as Eira, Chaos had to keep his guard. The black hairs once again raised to a forty-five degree angle, not fully extended for he was not mad. The white ears that laid on Chaos's head were flat against his head, not aggressively thought.
A low snarl came from his maw as he approached the stranger. "Ho there traveler! What brings you ontp the Hive's territory?" Chaos was attempting to sound polite, but a few snarls came at as he replied. pos[/glow]

Jaire planted his rump firmly in the soil, tail still swishing happily as he began a routine bath, though it was more of a feline manner that he projected, rather than a canine predicament. He could hear them getting closer of course, but there was no point in presenting oneself when you were untidy, with your fir all slathered in the soil you'd been rolling about in.
His ears twitched of course, they couldn't help that, it was their duty afterall, to alert him to the sounds of enroachment on his territory, and though he would hardly be able to claim the little spot of mud as his own, (and nor would he want to,) they still lt him know that company, be it hostile or no, was nearing.
And yet the beast seemed to take no notice, merely continuing his meticulous and carefully measured bathing.
Of course he had to pay attention when he was so rudely snarled at, but rather than yelping his shock, he merely raised his head and ceased his hygeine routine.
Titling his head on an obscure angle he seemed almost to query the other's audacity, though his answer was his usual friendly greeting. "Well noo, Ah'd merely be lookin' fer company. P'raps food too, but that kin wait til later Ah'm thinking."

[glow=red,2,300]Feeling as if perhaps the male had not heard him, Chaos had raised his voice to a slightly louder tone. "Ho there traveler," he stated once again. "What might a wolf such as you be doing on the Hive's territory?" Choas was a nice, relaxed wolf most of the time. But there were some things that made the white wolf snap, such as being ignored. He was maybe the only non-too hostile wolf in Shadow Hive, and he had felt proud of that too, though he was afraid that someday Dust would kill him for that. tail flinching nervously, he awaited an answer, not checking for Eira who was supposedly right behind him.[/glow]

Eira Sat down and watched them both. After awhile her eyes casually scanned the area, noting the different types of trees and creatures that inhabited these trees. She gave a small flick of her tail as her attention turned back to the pair of wolves before her. Eira smiled slightly, taking note of how his body language shows he is getting slightly more annoyed with each passing minute.

Jaire stood and allowed his tail to wiggle submissively, happily. Playfully. Spotting the female he bowed low, though whether it was in mock chivalry, or merely an attempt at humor, even he was unsure. "And we be blissed with the arreeval of a madim." He checked himself, pawing at his maw as though the physical remonstration would remove the accent from his throat.
It seemed the accent was mandatory. Even throughout his travels it had only strengthened, not waned in the slightest. How humiliating. If only the female was Northern herself the accent would no doubt have drawn her to him. Of course, she wasn't going to be from the Cold Reaches where his accent hailed from, and she'd probably merely giggle quietly to herself about the quirky Artic Wolf who was pondering his faults with an almost serious, yet semi-bemused expression laquering his face.

[glow=blue,2,300]A relieful sigh escaped from Chaos's muzzle at the male wolf's response. The fur on his back began to settle once more as did the snarling. "Forgive me there, traveler. I must take precautions. Food you say? Well, Shadow Hive is not one to share food." His tailed flicked at Eira, asking her to join in on the conversation. "Though I shall let you go for food for now. And company eh? If you are strong and loyal enough, Dust might bring you into her pack, though it might be as an omega for her to pound on." Shifting his weight, Chaos's eyes glanced nervously around. He did not mean the statement as being offensive, though it was not to be nice either. It was only a mere suggestion.[/glow]

Eira giggled slightly as she walked up besides Chaos, her side almost touching his. " Your accent, it amuses me.... where are you from?" She asked, still ignoring social graces that she desperately needed. Her tail wagged happily occasionally tapping Chaos' tail.

Jaire coughed in delight, a subconciously tactful veil refusing to allow him to see the slight insult embedded in the other's owrds. For wasn't that his way?
"Ack no milud. Once Ah'd had a pack you knoo. Beeta Ah were. Twere a borin' leetle life I led thar." Again, the accent annoyed him plaguing his auds with it's unnatural composition. "Do the accent bother milud much? Twere it eh it bothers. So buthersome." Of course, there were the odd little syllables he threw in as well. Nothing made sense at first, it was a matter of painstakingly translating his words whilst ignoring the meaningless factors imbued into his words.
In any case, being in a pack would be boring. Though there might be some form of resilient shield against Sabre.
In response to the femme he merely jerked his head in understanding. "The accent annoys? Aye so it do. I hail from the Nurthern Borders. The Culd Reachers as it do."

[glow=green,2,300]It took him a couple seconds, but Chaos got the basics of what Jaire was trying to say. "I see, and it does not bother me at all. I find it interesting, for I believe you are the first to come into this land with an accent." Flicking his tail back at Eira, he made it seem aggressive, telling her to stop. The sun was now high in the air, beaming upon the three wolves. Chaos was feeling hot and decided to step backwards a little, just enough to be in the shade. He dropped his rump onto the found and flicked his tail around playfully. "You two go ahead and get to know each other. I've...got some things to sort out." Chaos was so stressed. He had no idea what to do with the two loners. /I need some hello with them./ Lifting his white maw into the air, Chaos howled for assistance, mainly from Dust.[/glow]

Jaire wiggled his ears in a mute display of acknowledgement. Though it took him a moment to realize that the other probably wouldn't understand ear wiggling as any gratitudinal point of conversation. "Aye, do ye be callin' fer thar fearless laeder?" He enquired, though his eyes flicked back to the femme.
Her sank his paws into the soil, a little annoyed as he remembered he was only half done with his bathing, but too polite to attend to matters of personal hygeine in public; it simply wasn't the correct thing to do.
Thus he bowed once more to the female, a mere time filler as he pondered his boredom. "And wot be bringin' madim tae this land?" He enquired politely.

Eira smiled and bowed her head as well. " I'm just exploring, learning all that I can about various lands and such." She said simply. She had long since stopped wagging her tail and wrapped it around herself. She watched the other loner with interest. " Where do you come from? I don't thing I've heard that particular accent in my travels." She said trying to keeping the conversations going.

A howl hit the air, calling for assistance, it brought spiteful words, sharp and vicious to flee the female's mouth. Foolish! How could these wolves not handle themselves, a sigh escaped her maw. Rising to her paws, the once slumbering alpha scoffed and suddenly bursted to life. Weaving between trees and leapting over a fallen log, the small canine seemed to do these things effortlessly. Ears pinned against her skull, a snarl firm upon her features, it was obvious this canine was not in the greatest of moods.
As she moved, scents whirled into her nose, those of particular strangers and one pack member. Ahh, foolish, foolish creatures. All of them and surely they were in for it. With each ticking moment she was darting to reach them the more annoyed the alpha become. Slowing her pace down, Dust began to see the distant outlines of wolves, the three she'd scented. A low growl escaped her, she had been ripped from her nap, for this?
Her cold gaze snapped upon Chaos, targeted sighted, prepare to be just about terminated. Sauntering towards Chaos, Dust finally reached him. Only to invade his personal space, her muzzle inches from the male's. "If this isn't urgent, Chaos, expect bad things." The words were almost hissed, cold in tone, meant to frighten this male.

"Why madim, Ah'm ahailin' frim the Nurthern Burders. The Culd Reachers if ye've evar bin thattaway." Though of course she hadn't. No one had.
If they had, they'd have pounced on his accent easily, associating it with his old pack, probably following with a long geneology of "Oh so you're Bron and Seth's son? My you've grown! Why didn't you stay as Beta? Your Father was so proud..." And on and on and on in that boring little manner.
He quirked his ears into a fruitful little position, tilting his head to further his view of the femme. "Noo. Where d'ye hail frim? Be it near nay far?"

Tash placed each paw with meticulous certainty, massive head tilted to study his paws as they made their way across the terrain. He was no fool when it came to observing his surroundings however, thus dark brown optics flicked up every now and then, cautious as he pondered whether or not to sound his howl; he was clearly on owned territory, but alerting his presence to a possible hostile?
No. Stupid. Idiotic. Suicidal perhaps.
He would take his chances, low as they were for such a large wolf, at stealth.
The beast's pelt was rough and black, cloaking his well toned muscles like a vest, hugging the lithe membrane with ease. Dark brown streaks wriggled up his two front appendages, though in all honesty, they were so tinted it would be hard to seperate them from the rest of his fur.
It had been at least two moons since he had encountered a pack, and the memory of such vile creatures made his head snap up and lips draw back, faintly serrated fangs edged with blackish lips and maroon gums.
Packs were trouble. Of course, he knew that more than anyone did he not? He paused as he contemplated this, one paw raised in a silent and pointless salute, frozen midstep as he allowed his mind to travel back into the past. A painful past albeit.
Of course, there had been times when he'd yearned for company, the familiar touch, voice and appearance of a packmate or friend. There had been a pleasant few who he'd spent an amount of time with, but of course, as with everyone else within his life so far, they'd eventually drifted in seperate directions, some of them with goodbyes, others with a simple and silent departure.
Now?
Company certainly sounded appealing, though from the small snippets of rumors he'd heard of this place, the sort of company he'd find here probably wouldn't be the friendly type. No there were stories on the road, of the hostility one might find there, the unpredictable nature of the wolvern who dwelled there. And yet, something had drawn him there.
It had been a name. Monosyllabic, and merely something to slip the mind to others. Some form of leader or alpha over the monsters there.
Tash clung to familiarity, even the scraps, shadows and whispers of old memories, those of which were shaky and faint. But a name so reticulent and rare, surely he'd not misheard?
Though of course, there might be two wolves that went by the name (or was it an alias?) of Dust.

[glow=blue,2,300]Chaos pulled his ears flat against his head, intimidated by Dust. He did not fully cower, but he was still afraid. "Well, Dust. What the hell am I supposed to do with these two? You only brought me into the pack to hunt for you. You know I don't know how to fight as great as you nor Blast." His paws began to move back a little more.[/glow]
