A sharp gust of wind sliced through the evening air, a foul and unusual scent among it. Load, thunderous thuds echoed through the marsh's soft and soggy ground. A foul aura of corruption surrounded the abomination that ran awkwardly through the marsh. It ran almost in a hopping manner. Its front paws lead out like any normal wolf's paw, but the back two made more of a hop motion. The creature stood more vertical than horizontal. Its thin, wiry hair waved around through the air caused by running. Its claws, a great deal long and deadly, dug deep into the ground.
An abrupt stop came to the abomination, lifting its short and stubby muzzle into the air. The urge to send fear into others overcame the abomination, and it howled. The song was of dread and death, sorrow and sadness. Coming to a stop, the animal's deadly yellow eyes scanned the area for any animal it may attack. Its long, stringy front legs scratch at the ground eagerly. This abomination, was once a normal pup at a time. But then the evil sprit of Seth took hold, and turned the pup's body into its puppet.

Small elderly wolf shakes her head violently as her body carries itself toward a howl of the sound of the devil whom she is very familiar with. Her Emerald gaze fell upon the rather large male, whom clearly towered over her. The elder's body creaked and cracked as she made her way over to the male whom seemed to be possessed like she had been so many times before. Byorn did not care about attacks, for she had Lucifer on her side to protect if needed. She felt no fear heading toward this male... but alas, she shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, for this unfamiliar animal could be quite a danger, for Byorn is just a mere elder. She barked harshly at the blood-thirsty wolf as a mere warning that she was there, but not to challenge it or frighten him in any sorts.

The large beast looked to who dared bark at him. A roar of raged escaped the Corrupt wolf as he bounded awkwardly towards Byorn who did not seem to be afraid. Hovering above her, Seth looked down upon the wolf. Saliva dropped from his muzzle right in front of her. "Who are you to bark at me, elder? I could rip your insides out at this very moment." Seth was used to making wolves afraid, though he'll probably be surprised about Byorn.

Lucifer watched from within Byorn's pathetic frame as this Corrupt wolf seemed to... challenge him? Oh no... this would not do. The elder's eyes went from Emerald to Crimson in a matter of moments as this larger than life growl emerged from her small frame as Lucifer came through. His voice booming and gruff, almost too deep to hear. "You, mutt are no match for I..." he spat as he snapped at Seth's muzzle. Moments later, Lucifer realized whom he was dealing with... a soul that he rules and has bottled up for longer than he could remember. "Seth?" he asked, still sharply yet a little more calmly in case he was correct.

The Corrupt wolf was ready to dig his massive claws into the elder's side when a familiar voice attracted him. Ears perked forward and jaws wide open, Seth cocks his head slightly. "Master Lucifer?" He was greatly confuse, for why would such a powerful being posses such an elderly body. "My lord, forgive me. I had not known it was you. Had I known I would have offered my services rather than challenge you to death." Saliva continued to drip down from his maw, seeming as if there were no end.

Lucifer snarled at Oblivion, for he should have known better. He was under his wing... and Lucifer could make him a hell puppet any time he wished, just like Byorn. "You see this little pathetic Elder? This could be you, Seth. Watch your back..." he snarled as he pushed the little white frame into his face violently as she audibly whimpered. He should know better by now, and hopefully would learn his lesson for next time. Though, this was probably good for them all since Seth seemed to be more hellish than not. Lessons would surely be taught from Lucifer & Byorn alike to Seth... but only time would tell.

Seth's eyes dashed upwards to look at Lucifer's. "Of course my Lord, I will be more careful. But I am curious as to why you are here? There is nothing worthwhile in this marsh unless you are here to gather up the dead that haunt this place." A sudden itch overcame the corrupt wolf, but instead of using his back legs he simply brought up one of his long front ones and scratched his ear, almost as if he were a humanoid.

"Seth, my puppet." he said in a low, gruff tone as he snapped Byorn's face toward him rapidly, "These disgusting creatures of the Shadow Hive need to be taught a lesson. They think they're the baddest in the land... well, we'll teach them to fuck with us. I'm your keeper... and I have souls of others as well. When the Emerald Winter approaches, we'll teach them who is boss in these woods." Lucifer hated the Shadow Hive... but had no problem with the Cross Roads whatsoever. Perhaps... they could grow a little more backbone but they were fair and not faux blood-thirsty wolves like the devil had seen the Shadow Hive as. What Seth did not know was that he had run into Dust and the rest of the Shadow Hive recently and scared the shit out of them with the little frail elder before he vanished leaving them wondering about her. This, was his plan you see. To terrorize, then make his exit. If Seth was to follow in Lucifer's path, he'd listen and come along for the ride.

A wicked grin overcame the Corrupt Wolf's face, saliva dripping down upon the ground. "My Lord I will serve and follow you past the ends of time, for if you were not presence I would not be either." He paused, muscles tensed and feet eager to run. The urge to rip and tear soared through his mind, consuming it. "Shadow Hive, I have heard of them, though there is no way in hell I will ever believe there is anyone stronger than you my Lord. Those that think so should be punished as you have just justified."
