Caprus retreated, but not fast enough,3 long scratchs ran across his face. His first impulse was to retreat, but he growled, snapping at her,but missed. He snarled and sat down, cocking his head. Although he was in pain,he didnt show it. He admired the wolf, the way she protected her land no matter what,he strength, her power, her pride.

Silence held the two, as if the moment wasn't going to pass. Watching as he snapped, Dust didn't move. She was relentless, "Lay down, don't speak." She commanded, demanding this wolf show submission. The fur along the back of her neck bristled up slightly, silently enjoying the look of those claw marks upon his features. She had done that, an unexpected strike.
"You, a mere creature, thought he could stride upon my lands?" She was taunting, adding the insult to injury. Dust paced back and forth, not once allowing her gaze to leave his figuire. "Foolish, not even strong enough for the Hive." That grin slowly faded back to the smirk it had once been. Finally, her pacing ceased, coming to stand over Caprus. Awaiting any sort of retort the male had.

Caprus frowned when she ordered him, then stood up. "I can speak if i wish." he said, his rebllion side slightly showing. When she spoke the words Hive,he bacame confsued. Bees, wasps, hornets? He wondered what she was talking about, knowing he was stronger than mere insects. He watched her full hieght. Lightly nodding,he wished he was that big,but knew it wouldnt happen anytime soon. "I will be leaving when im done here." he said as he laid down.

"Do you think you will?" Dust asked, continuing to tease the male. "Will you leave, in peices, perhaps?" That was quite a thought, a threatening one indeed. She'd taken note of him laying down, a vulnerable state, whether he liked it or not the female took it as a sign of submission.
"You really shouldn't cross me." The words after she'd lowered her face, noses mere inches from each other. She stayed there, lingering, for quite sometime before withdrawing back to her head held high above his. Glancing back at Fetter for only a moment, Dust didn't trust the fox. But doubted that the creature would go rogue and actually seek out to harm the wolf.

Blast stalked through the tall grass by the river. He was curious as to what lie on the other side of Shadow hiv's territory. /Probably just weak, pathetic animals./ Blast snickered at the thought. He bent his black neck down and drank from the river. Cool, refreshing water filed his mouth. Blast tensed at the sight of his reflection. For some strange reason, the great grey wolf hated water. He enjoyed fire more. Perhaps it was because he loved to destroy. He himself did not know why this was so.
Blast turned away from the river and slowly walked back towards his leader, Dust. His muscles on the legs and shoulders flexed with each paw meeting the ground. He was very impressed by Dust, and love her attitude. He himself did not 'love' her, but he respected her. Blast laughed at the thought of 'love'. /There is no such thing. Only weaklings believe in that non-sense. / His left, snow white ear made a slight twitch after a leave brushed against it smoothly. Flinching his ear always made him remember the tags. Blast growled at himself. /Humans.../. Blast began to walk slightly faster, his right black leg brushed softly against a bush. Blast flinched as his back left black toe stepped onto a thorn bush. he sighed and knew he need to get the silly thing out. Blast sat on the dirt covered ground, his tail slightly brushing it. He lifted his black paw and positioned his mouth over the thorn. Once he found a grip, he pulled it out with ease. Blast spit it out, annoyed by the time wasted. A small drop of blood fell on the ground, and Blast got excited. He loved the smell of blood, even his own. He made a slight smirk with his grey-ish white muzzle and continued forward. Blast eventually arrived up to Dust, his blood red eyes stared into the some-what white wolf with no emotion. "Forgive me for being late, bate there was a rather pitiful delay." He snickered. He glanced at Fetter and Caprus. His eyes filled with dread and coldness. Blast smirked. "And who are these rather skimpy animals?" he asked sarcastically.

Caprus wacthed the other wolf approach, faintly growling when he called him "skimpy". He stood, his small but much smaller then the larger wolves, but he still showed that he wouldnt give up without a fight. He then turned back to Dust. "I do not think i would bt the one leaving in pieces." he snarled,he would fight to the death, her death that is. He was small, much smaller, but he used that to his advantage. He manuvered around quickly in his battles, striking and moving, over and over ethier until his enemey was dead or they had given up.

Fetter had followed, oddly silent. She was enjoying a show which she felt was put on for her, in it's own little way. "Flicking stones starts breaking bones. Watch your tongue or feed the crows." She intones as she sees a rather large male come into view, though the talk was directed to Caprus. She dipped from sight and came up near him, looking him over a moment before flitting away again before he could possibly hurt her. She looks at Caprus now, from a bush off to the side, where Dust can see her easily enough. She seems to admire the claw work there, she considers the color of blood. She's tried bird blood before, and found it dried an ugly ugly color on her fur, and was very sticky. "Fetter is Fetter, Fetter is now Shrimpy, Fetter Foxy." she replies to Blast herself, purposefully mistaking the simple word 'skimpy.'

Blast's fur stood up. Angered, he stared at the fox. "Watch your tone rodent, before I shut it up permanently." He then looked at the wolf named Caprus and snickered once more. "I would hold your tongue vermin. I hope you know who you are talking to."

Caprus cocked his head, lightly laughing. "I souppose im talking to a dirty, worthless, piece of trash. No,you worse than trash, your nothing." he snarled at Dust as he tried to ignore the searing pain from his face. The wound had cut him sharply, and it was still bleeding, but he fought it. He looked at the fox, growling at what he said about her. "She's not a rodent, shes more than what youll ever be." he said

Blast laughed at Caprus's remark. "Is that supposed to make me feel bad? Am I supposed to whimper and cry in a corner? BA! You're even more pathetic than I realized. Your insults do nothing to me except irritate me more." Blast positioned himself into a more aggressive stance. He waited for any signs from Dust to not attack.

Caprus smiled. "Did i ever say they were soupposed to make you cry, make you feell bad? I dont think so,i just merely stated my thoughts, since we all seem to be enjoying that." he said as he notcied his stance chance change. "I believe that if you even think of doing so,you will lose the fight." he said as he lightly laughed. The larger wolf tried to intimidate him,but the small wolf found it ammusing, entertaining really.

The ruckus at the river drew the attention of an ancient raven. She soared overhead, having located and followed Blast at a distance for some time that day as the overgrown wolf had a habit of ripping apart more than he could eat, and leaving behind plenty of food in wonderfully small, bite-sized pieces.
The raven circled high in the air for a time, listening quietly to the argument below and waiting to see if the aggressive, white-eared wolf might leave the scavenger yet another meal.

Blast found this pathetic excuse for a wolf amusing. He was so tempted to just reach out and rip its throat out. /Poor pathetic thing. He does not know that I was tested in a human lab. He does not know that a special steroid runs through my veins. In battle, the steroid takes action and my reflexes heighten. I become stronger. I cannot stop until the target is killed./ his claws dug into the ground as he restrained himself. "You might want to leave little dog. fighting is only meant for the big males and females," he said sarcastically.
ooc://Err...I'm not making him too mean am I? XD.

Caprus smiled. The mocking of his size didnt hurt,he was used to it. "Small i may be,but i am more powerful than what i seem." he said lightly. He lightly sighed. This wolves were beast, not caring for anyone but there selves. "I will not be stopped until my heart beats the last beat,my last breath disappears like the whisper to a ghost." he said lighltly as he lightly sighed. He felt sorry for these ruthless wolves, who didnt know how to love, care for another, the careless wolves were nothing.
