Blast was knocked out, exhausted still from the rage from earlier. Though somehow, the brute wolf was aware of everything that was going on. The scent of blood, the demon within the elder wolf. Blast would grin if he could. A demented, wicked grin of interest. He always loved a challenge, and would challenge this so called demon wolf if he could. But Blast was out cold, unable to assist his Alpha. It was not his fault, though. He knew that Dust would be furious with him, but she must have known that he would have jumped in, had he not passed out.
Derby could not hold his bold pup face any longer. Fear consumed his body as he saw the demon that possessed the elder Byorn, who he had not just met a few hours ago. He knew that he infuriated the old wolf by leaving without permission, but it was a test against himself of becoming Miseo! The thought rang through the small pups mind as he charged towards the monster in front of him, knowing that this was foolish and reckless. But he must prove his loyalties to Dust! This was very unnaturally for a pup to do, but Derby was determined.

To Orca's eyes, this wasn't looking good. The male, Bear, would undoubtedly turn on them should they attack this deranged old wolf. The other newcomers: Jaire, Tash, Eira could either turn on them, help, or simply stand and watch. Blast was out. The curltail, Chaos had fled.
Wrath was likely still slithering about, but she had never trusted the serpent to consider it pack.
Orca crouched, having gained slightly higher ground, and waited in her spot just a few wolflengths from Byorn's flank. She watched through the frail and seething wolf as Bear pleaded, as the pup rushed forward, as Dust snarled...

Tash allowed a very slight wrinkle of worry to crease his brow, and though he had no intention to involve himself if it could be at all helped, he was alarmed. His ears pinned back to his skull, and though his entire being was focussed upon the possessed elder, he managed a wry reply to Dust's half hearted insult.
"Now now Dusty... did we come to hide behind the crybaby?" He snickered, a somewhat harsh sound from his muzzle, though for the brute it was perhaps a little amused and sweet. "Diddums."

Byorn's ears rung with howls and growls from the others, in attempts to scare her off. Knowing that they had forgotten who was talking, she dismissed their warnings and saw nothing but red as the devil himself spoke through the frail elder, "Dusty.." he rudely nicknamed her, "I will find you..." he said as Dust danced away from him lightly. The devil's blood boiled within Byorn's body as he forced the elder to begin a game of chase with the Alpha, knowing well that this excursion may very well kill her. Byorn, being the elder she is started off after her, darting through the brush as the small pup, Derby got in her way. Satan did not give a fuck about the pup, but Byorn obviously did... thus her forcing her body to halt for a moment as her blue eyes pushed through the Emerald hue as she looked at the youngster she cared for, then darting to Bear with an apologetic look to her eye as Lucifer tore open her heart once more as she avoided the two of them like the plague, not wishing to hurt them. The devil dismissed her foolishness as he pushed her to Dust's location as a ghoulish scream escaped her jowls as her gaze was now glued to the Alpha. Her claws dug into the ground as blood seeped from her pores, as she snarled at Dust in a challenging sort of way.
ooc : Sorry for previous post, I wanted to cut it short but I know we could all have fun with Byorn whether she ends up dead or not. Preferably not, but I'll take one for the team if she does. So... yeah. I present to you... Byorn. Lol. <3

Once the pup came close to the elder, he pounced, digging his small claws into Byorn's legs. He did no real damage, for Derby was only a pup, but he attempted to. The pup bit and scratched at the elder, only making small puncture marks and claw marks, drawing only one small drop of blood. "I will not let you get to Dust!".
Wrath watched Byorn with curiosity. All that she was, was wrath. And it was Wrath's job himself to kill any that live by such a sin. The serpent slithered among the crowd, passing by Orca as he did so. Should he kill the elder? It was his duty...and if he didn't, Dust might have a good chance at not winning. /Perhaps I shall wait." He turned around, coming back the way he came. Going around all the commotion, the serpent approached Dust where she stood.
"Thisss one could take her out, for it isss alssso thiss one'ss duty. Or would massster like to handle thisss hersself?"

Bear watched her go, yearning for her to stop. Yet there he stood, alone, in a rather fragile state of mind. He would not show it, but deep beneath the surface, Bear stood in fear of losing his lovely lady. Shaking his head, no, no, no, such thoughts would make it come true. Watching at the snake slithered by, his ears flicked back with great anxiety. That slithering rat worked for Dust, no doubt. The old male would keep a steady eye on that serpent, Byorn would not pass at the fangs of such a vile being. As he swung his head to watch the distancing figuire of Byorn, a whine escaped him. Pale green eyes snapped to Derby, as Bear rushed forward, shoving his thick muzzle at the pup. Hoping to cause Derby to cease his foolish actions, this miseo striving pup, Byorn cared for him.
If the lady would care for him, then by gosh Bear would too. To further get Derby out of harm's way, the male made an attempt to pick up the pup by the scruff. It would be awkward for him to do so, for it had been long since the old male had done such a thing.
----
Watching Satan encased in Byorn's body, how dare the devil himself challenge her. Most would fear this, flee to the saftey of the forest. Maybe even drown themselves to escape the devil's well known wrath. But by damn, Dust was not one of those yellow bellied wolves. Looking at Tash, calling her a nickname, the female could only allow a small amount of chuckles to escape her before her attention snapped upon Lucifer. "I do believe the devil has challenged me." She almost whispered it in Tash's ear.
Watching the blood dripping canine, weighing her options. Should she lose, well, this would mean fatality. There was a great size difference, but she was of Shadow Hive, strength was not their only feature. Yet, to out smart one of the underworld, that would be a difficult task. Then, Wrath's words gently whispered into her ears, looking to the snake as she listened. Knowing his duties as a sin, he was technically supposed to kill Byorn where she stood. But would that be the cowardly thing to do?
Gaze then looked to where Orca had positioned herself. Continuing to silently figuire out a way, to get rid of Lucifer for the time being. The devil would most likely get her, but it would not be today. Retaining her cold exterior, a witty smirk curling upon her muzzle as she listened to the devil call after her. "I'll be right there, you devil, you." Her tone was a flirty, yet it was obvious she was simply teasing. As she slowly made her way towards Byorn, her tail flicked at Tash's muzzle.
If she didn't make it, well then, can't miss an opportunity to bother him. "Wrath, come on." She called to the snake. Finally she stopped before Byorn, staring the snarling mass in the eyes. "What is it, you want exactly?" The canine questioned, muscles tense, ready to either dart away once more or take the sudden pain of an attack.

Tash smirked. Though he'd certainly be inclined to step into the fray if Dust were to be severely mauled, the little chuckle that emitted from his maw seemed to punctuate that he was amused. Interested, slightly fearful, but amused none the less. The devil was not after him, and as such he had no need to worry about any such thing, and it was little more than common sense to watch; it would be rather enlightening he supposed, as well as a little wise, to see how those of Shadow Hive operated.
A benign little smile twitched at his dark lips as he followed the snake, reminded of a wolf Dust had once nicknamed her little snake, Little snake little snake... creeping and slithering up on the Grumpy old bear and I... her words echoed in his mind... perhaps not word for word, but they seemed to match the image in his memories. It would seem she now had a proper little pet. He disapproved of such practices of course; snakes were scaly, venomous little reptiles, certainly not the type of companion he'd opt to share a meal with.
And then there was the Devil Dog. Soaked in blood, and not a pretty sight. There was a moment, a split second where Tash's mind flipped to the elder's well being; what little he knew of possession of the demon variety often pushed the physical limitations of the possessed husks to the very edge... the elder was... well, exactly that; an elder. Past her prime. Vulnerable.
Of course, he'd brushed this aside quickly, though if he'd allowed himself to be entirely honest, (he didn't,) his concern was not now for Dust, but for Byorn.
"Dust." He hissed her name softly, not wishing to twist Lucifer's attention to his person, no he'd much rather the Devil disembowel Dust, for though he'd not appreciate his semi-friend being torn into small pieces, he'd certainly rather it was her than he. "This may pass. Be patient. Monologue the Devil, distract him... and perhaps this little... event... will deal with itself."
It was a guess, an assumption. A worried one, one that sent his dark brown orbs dashing back to the elder; he could see beneath the possessed fury the vulnerability. And there was always the issue of what would happen to her when she snapped out of it.
There was no guarantee the Shadow Hive would allow her to live. And he was well aware of that because even with all his concern for the elder... if he'd been the one making the decisions? As soon as she was out of the state, vulnerable and elderly again... he'd have struck her down.

Derby struggled and growled at Bear, furious that the wolf was trying to take him away. "Let me go! Lady Dust! Lady Dust...." he called after, hoping that once this was all over, she would accept him into Shadow Hive. That was the first step to becoming Miseo, was joining the pack in the first place. The pup kicked and growled at bear. "Let me go! I must prove myself!"
-----------------------
Wrath hissed deeply and followed Dust, curious as to what the devil wanted, and what Dust wanted him to do. If she did not want him to kill Byorn, then he could just paralyze her. It was risky, even for Wrath himself, and altogether he'd rather just kill her. But he would not, for he would wait for his master's command. --------------------------------
Blood red eyes revealed themselves from under the eyelids of Blast. The brute wolf could not move, but could see all that was going on. HE was still exhausted, but made an attempt to move his paws.

Orca remained where she was, crouched and ready to pounce with all 120lbs of her weight. She was amused by the round fluff-ball of a pup, now, but didn't let that distract her beyond an ear-flick as Bear bore him away. Her own icy eyes were steady upon the blood-matted fur of the seething old wolf.
Whether the old wolf was possessed, diseased, or just touched in the head, Orca wasn't sure. It was concern of disease that had held her, thus far: the frail wolf looked like an easy kill, otherwise. Her un-wolflike behavior had the same stink of those diseases that drove a creature mad.

Lucifer, watching the others closely with her Emerald eyes darting from one to the next as the devil exhaled what seemed to be fire from her lips. Her fur matted with a crimson tone to it as Lucifer drew himself closer to the Alpha who dared speak to him, as well as the others. "What do I want? I want your soul... for you're a damned fool." he said, gruffly. The devil was not taking any shit today, and he knew that she'd have to figure out on her own how to solve this issue she'd brought upon herself. Although Lucifer knew that she had done no wrong, she was the perfect target. A strong female Alpha of the Shadow Hive... who else to tear apart but her? He knew if the other wolves hadn't killed the elder behind the masked devil, that he'd get his way and into her head. "Come forth..." he said softly to the Alpha who was getting all kinds of whispers about his style of fighting, and of torture for this was just the beginning. For a moment, Byorn shifted out of the devil's moment of glory and watched the wolves gathering around her as she quickly figured out what had happened to her, or perhaps what was happening to her at the moment. In fear, she whispered a simple and short, "Helppp?" as he took over again, snapping her head to the left as he impatiently awaited Dust's attack.

Blast shook his head constantly, attempting to regain over his actions. His leg made a twitch, but that was all. Frustrated, he thought harder. Once again exhausted, he looked up to Lucifer and growled. "If you want anyone's soul, take mine. I am the Miseo of Shadow Hive." He did not know what overcame him, but an emotion...an emotion of some sort overcame him at that moment. What was he doing? Yes it was his duty to protect the alpha...but that was not why the brute had offered his life. Could...could it be that Blast had strong feelings for Dust?
He did, though Blast did not shout it out. She would probably call him a fool and a weakling. He snickered at the thought. He was weak. Too weak to even stand up.

Her ears flicked back as Tash spoke to her, glancing at the looming male for a moment. Then back to the devil who wished for her soul. Soul? Pah, fat chance that would be happening. As the devil called for her to move forward, she would continue her war of words. Then, it seemed Byorn came back, for just that moment. Pleading to be saved, a perplexing deal for Dust. Did she care about the elder? Not in the slightest. Bear however, was a different story. She loathed that male and this was his lady, right before her, pleading. But as soon as Byorn came, it seemed she was swallowed back into the devil once more. Her ears flicking back, a bit disturbed by what had just happened. "I'm curious, are you just bored, my lovely Lucifer?" She crooned, pacing back and forth.
Then, another voice attacked her ears, this of the Miseo. Her head snapped back to shoot a glare at Blast. That fool, he was in no position to speak, she had not requested his assistance for he could not provide it. Blast would be dealt with in due time, punishment would be great for such actions. With a snort, Dust quickly turned her head back to Byorn. Feeling foolish for taking her eyes of this creature who seemed diseased. "Tell me, oh tell me, are you?" She repeated once more, still in that ever crooning voice. Daringly, she leaned forward, eyelids drooping to cover her eyes ever so slightly.
It seemed Dust would simply attempt to strike up a conversation. Clever, clever creature, she praised herself for it. The female's muzzle was not far from Byorn's, quickly she adjusted reeling back slightly. a dangerous way about her, watching and waiting. For what? Not even Dust was sure, some sort of opportunity. Whether it would to kill Byorn or for the devil to possibly grow bored.
----
Bear silently struggled to keep this pup away, trying to place his paws firmly on his body. His ears rang with Byorn's familiar voice, faint from his distance, but it was hers. A whine escaped the male once more, what kind of male was he? Stuck here to babysit this foolish pup, while Byorn was fighting with that- monster. Fur raised, he hated this, loathed it even. "You must be still, pup!" Bear finally barked to Derby. Quickly, his ears fell back against his head, feeling bad for raising his voice.
"Please, this is a dire situation." Bear mumbled once more, allowing his face to get closer to Derby's. Trying to show the pup that this was no time for his silly, Miseo none sense. "Shadow Hive is far too vile for you." The male continued, hoping the pup might reconsider. His gaze swept back to Byorn, watching her and Dust. Tempted to tackle that pitiful alpha and protect Byorn from the wrath she would face. He would, by damn, he would.

Derby yipped at Bear's word, irritated. He thought of charging the male like earlier, but he threw the thought aside. "What would you have me do then? Join Cross Roads? They are too soft, weak, and foolish." Tears welded up in the pup's eye. This was his only chance to prove how dedicated he was to Shadow Hive...but the insolent fool Bear ruined it.

Orca had only a single thought flit through her mind as she watched Dust prance before the heaving old wolf, and that was a wondering as to who would take over the pack should Dust go mad with rabies, if she picked it up from the stranger's blood-flecked jaws. She entertained the idea of what Blast and Wrath should do if Nusaik, the pack's beta female, asserted herself. Her eyes gleamed in cold humor from where she crouched in the brush, the pads of her paws flexing gently into the soil.

Lucifer looks down as a snake slithers by, thinking about if he should perhaps step on it to teach it a lesson to come near to a devil such as him. Although, he chose the wrong body to frighten others, for Byorn was a frail elder who not even a mere pup was afraid of. Bad choice, but he didn't much care. Byorn's tail thrashed, as the Alpha took one look at her as she begged for mercy, but did not help her as the devil swallowed her soul once more, with ease. The devil snarled through Byorn, almost roaring at the others as he ran her body to the ground in a sense. She grew tired, but tried to keep up with the devil as he provoked the others. Byorn extended her neck, snapping at Dust's muzzle nearly biting her in warning before her Emerald eyes darted over toward Blast, as he laughed in hysterics at the male who was attempting to defend the Alpha female. "You're pathetic, Blast." he said... although, how does the devil know the male's name if he hadn't met him til this moment? Although mighty, the devil could not possibly know this male's name without something else going on... Lucifer snapped Byorn's head back at Dust, who had tempted him with such words as if to mock him in a way that made the devil livid. "Do you suppose I am bored?" he snarled, as Byorn's body began to shudder violently as she began to convulse like she had earlier. She knew well what this meant, for her body was giving up, and needed a rest but the devil would not subside. He pushed her body to lash out at the others, warning them to stay back, or they would be sorry... but what he'd do, no one really knows.
The poor elder... she needed to be let free, but Lucifer just wanted to further piss everyone off.
OOC : I re-wrote this so I could respond to Blast too. I re-read and forgot to have her in there. Sorry!
