Krismorel looked at the sword and gently rejected it, "I'm fine now. Thank you for the offer Brother," she murmured softly and continued walking as her pace increased, eager to get back to camp. Zaria was now at a swift trot, almost disappearing into the brush ahead of them as if there was something good for her waiting back at the camp - but of course there wasn't. --Just Gonna Skip Here ;3-- Krismorel emerged from her own tent, dressed fully in her comfortable cloth-and-leather armor. She sighed happily, her dark green cloak almost wrapping around her entire body as she rose her eyes to looked to the sky. Already she could see the stars scattered upon the blue-black sight and she sighed in content. Leaving behind her arrow and quiver, she whistled sharply. Not a moment later, she already saw Zaria trotting towards her and slowing before circling her Master a few times. Krismorel smiled a moment before running a hand through her dark blue hair, the braid as neat as it was before she had left.

While Krismorel was re-dressing, so was Velkan from his layers of armor. Emerging from the tent he was wearing a simple, plaid silken robe that the elves once used to wear with great pride. It was a soft material, though Velken wore it in black. Grabbing his handy sword and a small dagger the high elf walks up to Kris. "Are you to stay here or come with me? I am on my way to stare gaze, believing that the stream would be the best place." He did wish that she would come a long, for it was a great experience to lay next to the one you loved and gaze at the night sky filled with stars.

Krismorel looked at him and smiled, "I'd prefer it there with you rather than here with these hopeless ones." She sighed lightly and looked to Zaria who was sitting by a near tree, watching the camp rather intently as if there would be a gang of humans to show up any moment. Her tail lashed back and forth at a swift pace, but her fur was flattened and her eyes glowed with anticipation. She strayed her eyes back to Velkan and brightened her smile a bit. "Shall we go alone? Or would you rather have Zaria come? Either way, I don't think she would mind. Especially after what happened today."

His heart was gladdened when she agreed to go with him. Looking into her eyes with joy he makes a shrug of his shoulders. "It is up to her whether she wants to or not. Perhaps she could play with the fish in the water if she wanted, though that would make quiet a ruckus." Velkan chuckled lightly. At night he was always a different elf than the elf that wore layers of armor throughout the day. "Let us go then before a small cloud or something else blocks the beautiful view." Even though she probably knew where to go, Velkan still gave his hand out to her in a kind manner as an escort.

Krismorel smiled and slid her hand into his, curling her fingers around his and a small squeeze. She glanced at Zaria, who had her chin between her paws and her eyes were drooped half shut. "I think we're going alone then," she said and looked back at Velkan. Her eyes met his for a moment, lit up in joy before she looked away and stared into the forest. "I think the sight at the stream would be more extravagant than this." Krismorel said with a soft chuckle, eager to get going and out of this gloomy place.

Velkan smiled and tightened his grip on her fingers as well. "We shall bring Zaria another time then. Let's us be off now, for the stars and moon await." The stream was a good few ten miles, taking a few hours from the two elves's night. (Skip to stream) At the stream there were no animals nor fish in the water, only the stream itself and the reflection of the stars and moon. A large rock was off to their side and Velkan brought Kris over there, for the patch of grass that was there was the most comfortable in the whole area, also the least damp. He slowly sat down, then laid down and stared at the stars, almost as if he were a human.

Krismorel smiled and looked around the place. "Even more beautiful at night, don't you agree?" She looked at him as he laid down, and she followed soon after. Only she sat, her cloak wrapped around her entire body as she stared at the stream. No fish could be seen, for she knew that they were probably resting as they too should do. She placed her hand beside her, half expecting Zaria to be there as she always is. When her hand landed on the soft grass, her heart sank a small bit. Normally, Zaria was always by her side. Ever since she found her that one night, stranded and alone. Shaking the thought out of her head, she placed her hand back on her lap. Raising her head, her eyes slowly searched the beautiful night sky, the stars shining brightly.

Looking to Krimorel the high Elf nodded quickly, for it was always indeed more beautiful at night. He noticed her hand move to where Zaria might have been and with that Velkan reached over and took her hand to rid the small bit of loneliness that was within her. Feeling quite tired he began to close his eyes, for tomorrow would be a long day. "What are we to do Krismorel? We cannot sit there and wait for the humans to rid of our people. What are we to do, for I am unsure of that." A rustle in a nearby bush made Velkan's green eyes fly open and make him sit up, but it was only a weasel going for a drink. Relief flooded the high elf as he laid back down.

Krismorel looked at his hand and smiled slightly, feeling more comfort. She sighed and looked back to the stars, searching them once more as she also searched her mind for words. Truthfully, she had no idea what the Elves were going to do now that the Humans wanted more land. Finally, she shook her head and brought her voice to a low murmur. "I don't know what we are to do, Velkan. It seems the humans won't rest until they get every piece of land they can lay their hands on. Hope lies somewhere..." She paused for a moment, "But I have yet to see it."

"I do not agree with the elders when they say we should move, for if we do so the animals and sceneries here will only perish. As well as this, if we leave the humans will eventually follow us. Perhaps there is a way we could kill their king?" Velkan did not know that the human king was under protection all the time, and not knowing this made it seem that the task was all the more easier. "But let us think of this another time. You must be quiet tired, yes? After the little encounter today we will need someone on watch, so I shall do this." To be honest, Velkan was exhausted, but he wanted to place Krismorel's needs before his needs.

Krismorel turned her hand over and gave his a tight squeeze. "Are you sure? We could just head back to camp where it is more safe, you wouldn't need to stay up just for me to rest." She would feel a bit bad if he did, just by looking at his eyes she could tell how exhausted he was. "Or I could watch while you rest? I'm not that tired, at least not as tired as you." She offered, her voice having a small hint of concern for him.

Velkan's brow creased at the thought of going back to camp. "Going back is no option to me when we have this beautiful scene before us. I will not argue with you on who should be keeping watch, for that is what humans do. I shall submit to you and sleep then, but wake me when the moon and stars grow dimmer, for that means morning is coming." The high elf wished he had his cloak now, for he used it to cover his eyes from staring into the night sky. Squeezing Krismorel's hand for a brief moment, he let go and closed his green eyes, falling asleep immediately for he was more exhausted than he realized.

Krismorel scooted closer to him and scanned her blue eyes around the dark forest for a brief moment before looking back at Velkan. She smirked as she saw he was already asleep, and she rose her eyes back up to the stars. She reached her hand and stroked up her ear before letting it fall to her braid, making sure it was in right order before entwining each hands' fingers and placing them in her lap. --Gonna skip 'ere xD-- Looking up at the sky, she saw the stars beginning to dim. Her eyes were drooped as she already saw the hint of light coming from the horizon. Laying back, she arched her back and stretched before sitting right back up and looking towards Velkan. Slowly, Krismorel placed her hands on his chest and gave him a light shake. "It's almost sunrise," she said, her voice thick with exhaustion.

Velkan woke up at the first shrug Krismorel gave him. Standing up he looked to the horizon, the stars beginning to dim. how sad it was that a perfect night was ending. His green eyes dashed to Kris as he nodded his head in thanks. "When would you like me to awake you, Sister elf? For it matters not to me. I am well rested and awake and may stay so for the rest of the day even." Looking to his robe, small amounts of dirt sand grass covered hit. He briefly washed it off then looked back into Kris's eyes.

Krismorel looked at him and gave a light shrug, "I'm not sure when I would be awaken. Perhaps in just a few hours? That's all I would need to last until sunset today." She locked her tired eyes with his, awaiting what he would say. Her hands spread along the grass and she almost smiled at how comforting it felt. The place was truly beautiful, and what a shame it would be for the humans to wreck the beauty and turn this place into something they wouldn't even need.
