[shadow=red,left,300]Setting: [/shadow] The land which this Role Play takes place is called Maralon, a beautiful place where the scenery is mighty but the people are not so for tyranny is at work. The center of Maralon is a large castle, surrounded by a major town called Thistles which is rich of trade and poor folks. About 30 miles North is a small village called Argonia where most thugs and thieves tend to live. 23 miles East lies a village along the coast of the Maralon sea called Bergra where the more peaceful and rich live, surrounded by a massive wall for protection against bandits and others that mean harm. Directly South, a good 56 miles away from Castle Maralon lies the Elvin kingdom of Ithil or the city of the Moon. There is where both High, Wood, and Dark elves come from for there are many different camps in that general area. 78 miles to the West lies a deadly mountain range called Gurth, meaning Death in Evlish. It is said that a lonesome village that protects dragons hides amongst those mountains but no one knows for none have ever returned.
[shadow=red,left,300]PLOT-[/shadow] Humans have begun to believe that they are almighty and powerful even more so than they once thought. The King, a tyrant by the name of Randy, is untouchable and unreachable for his whole guard protects him every hour of every day of every week. The king has sent many out to overtake the Elvin kingdom of Ithil, though each and every time they have been unsuccessful for the elves are mighty, powerful, and not greedy such as the humans. Some elves believe that it is now the Age of Man and no longer the Age of Elves, though some tend to disagree. Many of the elves are readying to leave to a distant land called Hareothm, across the Maralon sea and over a mountain range called Shrivilrus. Hope is dying slowly within the Elves' hearts.

A tall dark figure walked hidden amongst the trees, hiding from plain sight. The light chainmail that he wore underneath his leather armor was made of mithril, light and silent with only a few jingles every now and then, mostly from running. A long cape, black on the outside was connected to the figure's shoulder, going down to barely touch the ground.
The inner part of his cloak was white, the bottom seemed as if there were cuts and tears. He wore white trousers covered with more heavy-steel armor, covering his knee and down, including his foot. Black gauntlets covered the figure's arms, reaching to the elbow. Underneath his right gauntlet were throwing knives, 6-7 of them.
His white hair was covered by a black hood as were his long elf ears and his green eyes, unnoticeable by others while he wore the hood. A long steel sword hung by his waist sheathed, but his hand was at the ready to use it for whatever reason. The figure was an elf, a High Elf at that. He was a sword-expert, though not a master. His name was Velkan...Velkan the Shadow as some folks would say, though it was unnecessary.
The mid-day sun was blocked out by the trees that he was under, providing the high elf some shade from the hot day. He was about ten miles away from the High Elf camp, where many were losing their sprits. Leaning against a tree with his back, Velkan lifted a leg and but the bottom of his foot along the tree too.

A lithe leopard stretched out at the feet of her Master, her bored and iced blue eyes flicking to and fro as if in desperate need of attention. Her long, white and black spotted tail flicked a few times before curling around herself. Some of her black markings glowed blue along with her eyes, her claws sheathing and unsheathing as she watched them intently. So far, the day had been dull for Zaria; pet of Krismorel Wolsbane. Her master wasn't doing anything today, which irked her deeply. Not training, conversing with other hunters... nothing.
Zaria's two long teeth passed down her chin a few inches as she looked up at her Master, Krismorel, as if pleading for something to do. Krismorel was leaned against the tree, most of her plated armor pulled off and set beside her. Now only cloth and mail remaining on her body. Her cloak was wrapped around her waist and her long, dark blue hair reached her lower back, a braid hidden in the middle.
Krismorel's glowed blue eyes too, was also searching for something to do. It was boring to talk with all the others, listening to their ramblings of hopelessness. And she wasn't in any mood to practice her archery - at least not today - so that was out of the question. Sighing, she leaned back her head to place it on the tree and stretched out, the hot summer air seeming more peaceful than hot as the day slowly crawled by.

A quick breeze of refreshing air brushed past Velkan, his hair swayed slightly and his eyes stared at the hilt of his sword. It seemed rather plain his sword, though it was originally supposed to be a claymore, but not to the High Elf. He used it as a one handed for it was rather light. Using his thumb Velkan continued to bring out the sword a tiny bit, then let it back down. He needed something to do, but there was not much he could do. Not many elves had hope anymore which highly irritated him for they were proud and beautiful people.
Leaving the tree the high Elf walked on through the woods in no particular direction. The sight of an animal made him tense slightly until he realized it was Kirsmorel's feline Zaria. Relaxing, Velkan walks over to where the animal was though came around to wear it could see him. He then approached her and made a hand gesture of greeting with his hand. Green eyes searching, they end up looking to where Kris was standing. "Good day Sister," he said smoothly.

Krismorel moved her eyes at the familiar voice of Velkan. She gave a small smile and gestured a 'hello' as well. "Good day Brother," she said as she straightened up and placed a hand down to pet Zaria. She flattened her ears against her head and almost purred at her Master's touch. Her tail flicking to and fro affectionately as she circled Velkan a few times, sniffing him as if he were a new plant of some sort before sitting right beside her Master. Her tail curled around Krismorel's ankle tightly as her white and black spotted fur brushed against her almost bare leg.
Krismorel looked towards the sky and let out a soft sigh. "Nothing much to do today, is there?" She asked with a small glance at him. Her hand reached up and allowed a few locks of hair to fall in front of each long ear. The braid behind her being a little bit longer than the flowing-down hair that reached her lower back. (As stated earlier x3) Her eyes searched him for a moment before they strayed away, looking down at her large feline friend. Her head reaching about Krismorel's breast.

Velkan glanced quickly with his green eyes at her long hair but then quickly looked arawy though she would not notice it for his good was up. His hood was up! how rude to be having a polite conversation like this. Reaching his hand up the high Elf lowered his hood and moved his white locks out of his peripheral vision. "T'is indeed a rather boring day, though some can make it not so by not losing hope in their people." His green eyes dashed upwards, looking into her eyes. "You have not given hop have you Krismorel Wolsbane? If so then surely all hope is lost."

Krismorel's eyes met his for a moment, then she closed them and shook her head. "Of course I haven't. What kind of person would I be if I have?" She asked simply with a pat of Zaria's head. Her eyes looked concerned as she glanced back at him. "Have you given up hope, Velkan?" She asked, her voice calm with a very small hint of concern. Zaria looked up at him, tilting her head as if to wonder what his response would be.

Staring at Krimorel he shook his head as well. "I hold on to hope with every bit of my being Sister. If I lost hope I would not be the same as I am now. We must stay strong if we are to survive this depression, but we must get the others to believe as well. Curse man and their Greed, for they are never satisfied. How it makes me mad." Realizing that he was going off topic, Velkan shook his head. "Let us walk for it is a beautiful day."

Krismorel nodded and turned around, picking up her plate armor and gently sliding herself into the armor. Sighing in almost content she smiled and chuckled softly to see Zaria was already striding gracefully ahead. "Hmm... seems like she's always the one for looks," she murmured softly to mainly herself. She set off herself, following Zaria closely.

Walking next to Kris Morel every so often Velkan's green eyes would glance at her then to the woods. Humans could be lurking around, the thought did not appeal to the high elf very much. He looked to the sky then, for it was always a beauty. Looking straight forward Velkan stared at Zaria. "I once had a companion not too long ago, falcon named Me'urra (lightning) for he was as fast as it. There was a day I saw him glancing to the sky, a wanting of freedom was within his eyes. I let him go and have not had an animal companion since." This saddened Velkan for the falcon was a great friend to him. Shaking his head he looked over To Kris. "Where shall we walk to? Perhaps we shall stop by a fresh water stream?"

Krismorel looked at him in surprise, "Really? I always imagined you to be the loner type." She said with all sincerity and no foolishness. "I found Zaria when she was but a month old kit. Poor girl, out in the rain and so abandoned. You wouldn't guess it now, but that was when she actually liked to play around and didn't care for pride." She almost chuckled when Zaria looked back at her with anger in her iced eyes before turning back around, raising her head higher into the air and continuing her graceful stride. At his question, she allowed her eyes to do a brief scan over the area before returning back to the High Elf. "I suppose so, not much of a variety to choose from."

Velkan laughed at both Krismorel and Zaria. Reaching his hand out to Kris, Velkan had his palm up, indicating for Kris to put her hand into his and follow. "I know of a beautiful stream not too far from here. I go to it as much as I can when I seek out peace. I shall show you the way." Still slightly weary, the High Elf's green eyes looked from Krismorel to the forest as if he sensed an ambush, yet there was none...at the moment.

Krismorel looked to his hand and gingerly placed hers' on top of his. Her eyes searching him for a moment before her fingers curled around his hand, giving a curt nod. "That would sound... lovely," she said as she searched her brain for a few more words. When none came, she remained silent as Zaria fell behind the two, ready to follow where Velkan will lead them. She could sense that her Master felt uneasy, mainly about going into the forest with barely any preparation.
