Raissa smiled and rising came closer, closing the gap and boarder that existed there mentally and physically stepping into this surprising role. She has not trouble doing so, he does not smell as though there was ever something wrong or is something wrong with him. "We'll go on an adventure with him. I could use some adventure myself sometimes." She smiles at his enthusiasm, enjoying it. Her company of the adult persuasion is elegant and handsome for a cat.
This has turned to be a lovely day despite the surprises, which were not bad to begin with.

Sweeny looked as though he was winding up his energy, to soon burst into a million pieces which in a sense what he was about to do. "OHHHH BOYYYY! GOING ON AN ADVENTURE WITH MY MOMMA AND A CAT!" he said, running around in circles, unable to contain himself any longer. He began to pant rapidly as he almost was gliding upon the ground in excitement.

A bout of laughter escaped the big cat, watching the excited pup. Kohen wasn't sure where they'd go exactly, but that could be saved for later. For now, it was about Sweeny. "Ahh, we could all use a little adventure every now and then. Spice things up." He joked to Raissa, enjoying the canine's pleasant company. Sure, she seemed to be little for words, but her motherly way was welcoming.
Tail flicking, the big cat rose to his massive paws and brought himself to his full height. Towering over Sweeny now, he looked down at the excited pup, still amused by his antics. "We better get going before you make yourself tired." This was another joke, a playful grin gracing his features. Looking to Raissa, then looking around, the Kohen figuired that they could walk to the lake. Yes, surely Sweeny would enjoy such a thing. "Shall we go to the lake then, miss Raissa?" He questioned, beginning to walk that way. Stopping and looking back at the wolves to see if they were up for the travel.

Raissa smiled, glad for company like his, such an easy and friendly nature, were he a wolf she'd fancy herself taking a liking to him...but were he a wolf he'd not be the same, shame how life often worked, but, that's life for you...a bitch when she needs to be and sweet the rest.
"I would not mind that much at all Kohen" a bit of an accent escaped her there and Kohen came out more like Kohn-ein. she looks down at her paws a moment and says softly "Sorry, I did not mean for it to come out like so, Some places never let their grip of you slide away completely." when her words ended she chuckled slightly, perhaps he'd understand that, perhaps not. "What do you say my little Love, would you like to chase fishes in the lake? There are little islands out there, but you can't go to them yet. You are still young."
Despite having only found Sweeny this afternoon Raissa already loves him. How could you not? His excitement, his confusion, his love for the world made her feel as though things were wonderful. Life does such weird little things to those who deserve it. Raissa deserved this, though she'd never admit it if you called her out on it.

His small tail wagged as he heard the best thing in the world. "Fishhh? Momma, I want to go and see the fish!" He said, as he took a running head-start to the large feline and he attempted to climb up Kohen's body to get to his back. "Kohen, I want a ride to ride on your back. Pleaseeee?" he asked and pleaded, hoping the answer would be 'yes.'

The big cat lowered himself to allow the small pup to get on his back. "Sure thing, Sweeny." Kohen purred, oh, Kohen wish he'd had his own cubs. Quietly, Kohen sighed, but quickly dismissed this. He'd have his own cubs someday, then they could ride upon his back and he could take them to the lake. When he thought Sweeny was on his back, the large beast stood up once more. Looking back at Raissa with an assuring smile.
"Ahh, miss Raissa, shall we get going then?" Kohen asked with a grin, beginning at a slow pace. He would allow the female to set the overall pace, but keep steady for Sweeny to not knock him off. Black rimmed ears flicked, making sure no rude creatures would dare to cross their pathes. No, not a single sound besides the trio, perfect. He looked at the different colored leaves of oranges, browns, and yellows. Admiring their coloring, fall was upon them, this meant a thicker coat and snow. This also meant he would have to work with the Cross Road wolves even more so, just to keep their bellies full.

She nods, a soft kind of smile graces her face, and lines her eyes expressing the genuine nature of her...as well as showing her age. "You can simply call me Raissa, Kohen, are we not friends here?" she asks, her tone creeping to playful. To Sweeny she warns "Be careful little love, don't jump around, just sit still. Kohen is nice to let you ride, what do you say?"
As she had spoken to Sweeny she started to walk, just an easy and leisurely stroll down the river side, that light smile still upon her muzzle, still touching her eyes just enough to show some lines. The air was crisp and beautiful, soon the geese should be flying over their home and it would be the time for the packs to gather and hunt. She relished this easy time when company was little and light hearted.

Sweeny ran around in a few circles then jumped atop of the large feline's back as he spoke to his Momma about beginning their adventure. His heart was beating so very quickly, he could almost not stand the excitement that this day was bringing him. Soon after he was atop Kohen's back he was lulled to sleep. Something about a good ride made this pup tired and he hadn't stopped since he found his mother again. Needless to say... he was snoring and fast asleep.
Amongst the brush, lay a rather large feline of a specific breed. A lovely one at that... eyes a honey hue that captivated most, yet she was still for some reason alone. With that aside, her circular ears swiveled forward as she heard a deep, smooth tone not too far from where she reclined at this present moment. Her large tail wrapped around her hind left hip as she watched silently for them to appear. Isis lifted her maw upward slightly as she inhaled, sorting out all of the scents that came her way. She smelled those of the Cross Roads pack... a wolf pack she had learned about but never had enough sense to introduce herself properly. She knew that she was a different species of them and did not wish to scare them in any sort of way. But another scent came through her nostrils, one that she recognized more than the others... it was a feline. One of her kind, in fact. Isis was now curious... and wished to further investigate without disturbing them in the least. She arose from her hiding spot and stuck her head out in the open as she then spotted a large rather handsome male in the clearing with.... a wolf? Not one, but two. Not to make matters worse, but it was a fucking pup on his back! She was severely confused, for she had never thought this was possible. Shaking her head lightly, she turned her attention back to her resting place and tried to get away unseen, yet her large paws had a past of well, breaking things. And sure enough, a branch that had fallen before was conveniently underneath her large paw as it snapped loudly. //Fuck.// she thought as she turned around... knowing she had been found out. She turned around gracefully and made eye contact with first, the female wolf, then the large handsome Cougar. "Greetings to you both..." she said, a little embarrassed.

The snapping of a twig caused his fur to lurch, his head swung to see the female cougar. Wait, one of his own species? It seemed Kohen was a mixture of shocked and worried, standing tall as to protect the two wolves he'd become friends with. One could never be too sure. As her divine voice drifted to his ears, Kohen eased himself. "Greetings miss, who might you be?" He questioned, surely such a lovely lady would be given a delightful name.
The big cat's tail flicked and twitched back and forth, looking back at Raissa. Just to make sure she knew, that the female was not forgotten. Every so often the sound of Sweeny would cause his ears to twitch. A warm and welcoming smile came to his maw, awaiting for this little lady to speak her name. Quietly taking in the way she held herself and her appearance, those eyes were ever so lovely. "I'm Kohen." The big cat finally spoke, giving a slight bow to Isis in greeting. How foolish of him to forget to introduce hiself, where were his manners? Oh yes, they got lost in those eyes.

Raissa stands in a defensive stance, her legs spaced wide, thrown off by the sudden intrusion. She turns her head enough to look at the sleeping pup and listens to Kohen's rather floored greeting. She knew Cougars rarely came into one another's territory, and those spaces were vast, what was this one doing here? was she looking for a mate to breed? Raissa was not sure, and her ears fall back.
Turning back again, seeing Sweeny safe still she nods curtly "Raissa, of the Cross Roads." her teaching was formality in greeting, bowing her head low she speaks with it down "I seek no quarrels with you, nor have outstanding bad blood. Let us be as friends and share our time together." as was custom of her old pack, old habits die hard after all.

She exhaled, for until the male had spoken she had held her breath tightly. Her eyes scanned over them hesitantly as she spoke. Her caramel frame relaxed a bit now, as her brown eyes met Kohen's, before her ears swiveled around to Raissa. She dipped her large skull to her, knowing that a mere female wolf traveling with a large, handsome Cougar was nothing to fear. "I am Isis." she said, her voice shook as her whiskers twitched lightly in the breeze. Her large paws firmly planted upon the ground below her. She took in the frame of the male in his entirety, for he was rather handsome and strong. She hadn't seen such a male before, and many have approached her about courting and becoming hers recently. Strange.. since it was not that time of year... even close, at that. "So very, very nice to meet you Kohen." he replied. Her words dripped from her maw like golden velvet as her gaze was glued to the massive feline. Her heart beat rapidly as she awaited to hear his strong tone once more... it captivated her so.

Kohen's maw is left agape, listening as she speaks her name. Watching her frame for a moment, no, wait, her eyes are there not there. He chides himself, hoping that this female will not think of him as being rude. It seems the male must regroup for a moment, it has obviously been quite awhile since he's seen that of the female variety for his species. Quickly, he remembers his manners once more, shutting his mouth and clearing his throat.
"Well, miss Isis, we were just taking a walk to the lake." He began looking to Raissa, hoping she would not disapprove of giving out such information. Turning back to Isis, he bows his head, "It would be lovely, for you to join me- us." Stupid, stupid, stupid, get your words right. Hoping she would not catch the slight slip up, Kohen begins to walk the way they had been going. Looking back at Isis, hoping she would not keep to solitude and possibly join him. Flicking his tail at Isis, the male takes a quick check on Sweeny before continuing on.

Raissa is churning inside, her belly feeling sickly watching Kohen talk to this 'miss Isis' who wanders in from no where. Her ears fall back and she shifts her weight from her defensive stance to forlorn, her shoulders loose and tail hung low. "Perhaps Sweeny and I will just go, He's fallen asleep again anyway, so I should just take him home."
She moves to take him from Kohen, but does not take him down, instead speaks once more "We'll just have an adventure another day." Her dejection is mixed with sorrow and shame. Part of her knows there is no reason to behave this way, but she can't help it on the other side of the token.

Isis's large tail hung between her hind quarters, for on one side of this situation she's wanted, for this lovely male Kohen wishes her to come with them. ...On the other paw, Raissa seems like she does not wish to be apart of this situation whatsoever. Sighing, she as torn. "I do not wish to intrude, but I'd love to go to the lake with you. But if it's going to be an issue...." Isis said as she looked over toward Raissa who was going to simply take her pup and vanish.. just like that. She began to wonder, was there a connection she did not see between them? She must be missing something... but this didn't slow her down too much for she allowed her gaze to migrate back to Kohen who she was greatly admiring. He was rather large and handsome... plus she was beginning her heat. Although breeding is not for a few months, for some reason... Isis's began early. She although, did not wish to allow this to be known yet, unless Kohen picked it up on his own. Until then, she'd stay quiet and hope he'd continue wishing to be around her as much as she'd like.

He swings his head to Raissa, "No- no, please don't go." The cougar quickly asks, he enjoyed the wolf's company greatly and simply adored Sweeny. Hopefully, the female would not feel like a third wheel with the two big cats. "I wouldn't want you to walk alone." Kohen spoke once more, a worried expression crawling to his features. His attention shifting to Raissa, whom he had come to enjoy having the small conversations with. Looking to the slumbering pup, hoping he would not wake up just yet. His eyes once more flickering to Isis, bowing again in apology.
"I am hoping, that it will not be a problem." Kohen's voice drops in volume slightly, it seems as though the words are only meant for Isis' ears. The big cat wanders passed Isis, giving her a nod as he passes by before standing beside Raissa. Even with such movement, the big cat cares to be steady while he walks. The cargo on his back is rather warm and just melts the big cat's heart to a puddle. A yawn passes through his jaws, a slight growl escaping his throat as he does so. Quietly, he hopes that the females will manage to atleast walk with him. The feline had so been looking forward to romping in the lake with Sweeny and perhaps talk to Isis a bit more.
