Lhucky chuckled as Raissa rolled over, as she spoke to Sweeny. "You gave him that idea? You're a little sneak... Sweeny sure takes after his Momma." he said, meaning Raissa and not Baka, and hoped she'd understand that. His tail swished to n fro as he watched the mother of his pup, sighing deeply in relief that he'd finally found his forever family. "Raissa..." he said, using her name gently, "I am happy I found you." he said as he looked at his son whom had grown to absolutely love his Momma. -- Sweeny's little tail wagged as he listened to his parents be lovey with one another... or at least his Poppa to his Momma. "Will I be as strong as Poppa, Momma?" he squeaked as he began to crawl all over Raissa, little paws almost tickling her ribs.

Raissa's ears flick up followed by her eyes, which watch his mouth as he speaks. "I-" Sweeny asks her a question, and she smiles at him, almost seeming to dodge any answer to Lhucky as she wriggles pretending to try to escape those little tickling claws. They do tickle though, and she giggles some, it's an odd sound for her, but not unpleasant. "You will be as strong as momma and poppa both love, we'll make you smart and strong, all the ladies will love you."
She catches herself enough and looks Lhucky in the eye, he'd used her name...and it was said in respect, which to her is earning of some form of praise. "I-'m glad too." a knowing kind of smile touches her muzzle and she tilts her head forward, looking down her muzzle "But we found you, Poppa, we've missed you, and wanted to find you." She's being coy, but clever too.

All white, once again, she was dreaming. The white wolf wandered around the dream world that she always created when she slept, she stopped suddenly and licked her lips. Before her stood a large black male, Nero, as she had come to know. But this wasn't the real one, he merely stood there staring off in the distance. A mere statue that just stood there in the back of his mind. " Stupid symbolism...." She muttered as she looked at him. " There is no reason for him to be here, it's not like I like him or anything." Solstice huffed. " Or do you?" , Solstice spun around to see who spoke to her. Before here was now a golden brown wolf, his tail had a white tip... and his eyes.... were brown and filled with pain....
" Akil!!" Solstice growled deeply. The male just smiled and walked past her, tail lightly smacking the side of her face as he did. " A rather proud male you chose this time..." He said, not even caring that she was pissed. " To bad you won't be around much longer to actually be with him. Just like every other male you fall for, he will die or you will leave. It is a pity.... someone as beautiful as you has to be sooo lonely." Akil added, trying extra hard to rub in her misery. Solstice just growled and stared at him. " You lie I don't like him, I don't need anyone. All you are is a nuisance, your not even real! this is all just my imagination!" She said with pure hatred in her voice. Solstice stood ready to pounce, while Akil just smiled and tilted his head. " Well... then why am I here? If you don't love him then why oh why would I be here telling you that you do. Oh wait that's right, because you can't lie to yourself.. so you use me to try to twist your poor puppy brain. Pity, that is all I can feel for you..." He said before giving her a large, evil smile and blew up into smoke and dissipating completely. " Poor Poor Solstice, can't face her own self... can't even find and kill me... so useless..." His voice resonated before being completely gone. Tears now flowed down her maw as Solstice turned and gazed at the statue of Nero. " I can't let myself fall for another... I'm to useless for any of them... I'm just a waste..." She muttered quietly.
Her real form continued to float downstream. The soaked furry creature finally started t slow as it went around a bend and slid into a lake and washed up along the bank. Solstice body didn't move, no hint of breathing at all. Was it possible that she could be dead? Was this the end?

Sweeny wrinkled his nose as his Momma mentioned 'the ladies'. He was far too young to care for ladies yet, though he knew he'd be there some day soon. His tail wagged as his claws continued tickling his Momma as she laughed in a way he hadn't heard before. Exciting, to say the least as he was interacting with her in a positive way such as making his Momma laugh. Enjoying this moment he was sharing with her.. he saw something out of the corner of his eye. What was it?.... ----- As he watched Momma and Sweeny, his heart grew larger from the love he had for them both. He did not wish to scare Raissa so he did not speak upon his growing infatuation with her. He simply stayed quiet, hoping she'd speak upon it first. "Yes, you did. I am ever so happy you did." he said as he had the thought of nuzzling her like he had wanted but decided against it, once more. Just then, a white lump floated down the river as he swiftly swooped Sweeny up in his paws, sheltering his eyes from what seemed to be a dead wolf. "Momma, dear. Is that what I think it is?" he said as he contemplated scooping her out of the water, dead or alive.

He looked almost mesmerized for a second at the pick up line, then a burst of laughter escaped him. A large paw was slung gently around Isis' neck like a boy would do at a movie theatre. Kohen loves it! She's just as cheesy as he is! Slowly the laughter dies to mere pleasant chuckles and snorts here and there. Grinning at her from practically ear to ear with glee at the joke. "You never cease to amaze me." Kohen says as he rubs his face into her neck for a moment. Her scent is sweet, so feminine that it just fits her perfectly. Then he looks to see Raissa pulling what looks like a female who had met her demise out of the water.
A worried look washes over his face, he slightly stands infront of Isis as if to block her eyes from seeing such a mess. "Oh dear.." His voice trails off in obvious worry, continuing to stare at the limp form, yearning to see her sides rise and fall as she breathes. Yet, he does not see such things and quickly looks away himself. Silence is held, "That poor soul." is all the male seems to murmer to Isis, taking a glance at her. Kohen feels foolish for he has seen the deceased before, yet there is still that pain of knowing that the life is gone.

Raissa was happy, this was a simple moment, a tender moment like she'd not had in a long time...shattered...like all good dreams...
She did not speak, but jumped in and drug the poor half drowned Solstice out of the water before she got to far into the lake and sank. She ignored how tight she gripped the limp wolf's scruff and hulled her free onto the bank, dropping her and watching water gush free from her nose and mouth. Finally turning to look at Lhucky and Sweeny, her eyes flaming with exuberance, liveliness. "I think she's alive, got her in time." She drops down close to the limp form and head buts her chest then listens for a feint heart beat, so light and fluttering. She sighs happily. This is what Beta Raissa does, action when called, speaking with thinking. Sharp Raissa, in her element.
She walks over to Lhucky, quite close and lets out a soft growl, not mean, but friendly, and lightly with just the very tip of her nose touches the fine whiskers by his nose, her warm breath stirring the downy fur there. Fast as she has done this, which is intimate for her so early in this connection, she is standing before him with Sweeny talking to him. "Don't worry baby, she took a rough and tumble down the river like you did earlier, she'll be ok." Raissa talks sweetly to him so it does not seem as scary.

Isis began to purr, which is something that she did not do often. It was a sort of hum that was mesmerizing to the eardrum. She closed her eyes, and leaned into him with a loving sort of manner... though she perhaps felt like he was not ready for a commitment? This, she did not know. But she did know that she was happy in this moment to say the least. "I.." she began to speak from her heart as he drew her in and covered her eyes as she felt his body tense up in almost, fear. She listened to the words he uttered as she then knew, what he had seen. Isis lowered her head, as she saw Raissa dragging a body out of the river. "Oh my..." she said as she then padded over to the small white body who seemed to be breathing rather shallowly at the moment. Being the curious Cougar she nudged it lightly for she had come across many swollen, deceased bodies in her time. She seemed to be the one they found, in fact. Not the other way around. Isis lay down next to the female wolf, for if she awoke with many staring eyes she might be frightened. The Cougar had a way about her that was comforting, thus she stayed with Solstice til she awoke. On the other hand, what's more frightening than awakening with a large female Cougar next to you? Isis did not care, which is why she in the end stayed put. ----- Lhucky's eyes widened as he watched his lovely Raissa jump to the floating female's aid. He was going to, but by the time he finished thinking about it the deed had already been done. This, made him more certain that she was his love and that he'd stick by her til death do them part. But this was not the problem at this moment, or the topic his brain should be on, for better words. A female wolf was barely breathing now, almost on the cusp of death was near them as he kept sheltering his son from the ungodly sight. Luckily, Raissa came over and began to sooth their son. But before she finished speaking about how she was alright, the sight of the (what he thought) was deceased wolf made him so sickly that he actually passed out. Sweeny had fallen into a deep sleep, which was quite alright because he needed it quite badly. But the way he went down was not the best in the world. Seeing the sight of his son asleep once more, he nuzzled Raissa as she came quite close to him within that moment which he knew meant a lot to her. Was she growing fond of him? He would never know, since her words hadn't matched her actions quite yet. "Momma, you're our hero." he said as his eyes motioned toward the ground next to him in hopes she'd nap with Sweeny after her heroic save as he spotted Isis lay next to the washed-up female. Only time would tell what would happen to her.

As this had all started, one wet wolf, and one dry and warm, one sleeper, one awake...Raissa curled around Sweeny and nodded to Lhucky in a curt way "I'm no hero, I am simply Raissa, and because I am so I will do what I need to." She will never take the praise of Hero, for to her it's not acceptable, she's done nothing wonderful besides her calling, in the same token she will not give it easily. Though her logic is her own, right or wrong.
She looked at the female cougar, considering things, her eyes flicker and dance still with the fire of action. Lhucky was fast too act in protecting Sweeny, so he would not be exposed to such things. She had not thought of that, only to retrieve the water logged female, dead or alive. In retrospect he was the better parent, she conceded it. "Lhucky...you're a good father, to take him away from that. I did not even think..." she let it slide away, aware of her ineptitude as a mother, at least in her eyes.

In the world of white, what would you call it? A dream realm? Whatever it is, the young she-wolf sat there staring at the statue of Nero with a frown on her face. She somehow knew she wasn't dead, so she felt the urge to break the bond and awake, but for now she was just going to sit there and stare at Nero like some distant stalker. With a final huff and a flick of her tail, Solstice stood and started walking toward the misty edge. She looked one final time over at her one true desire before growling at herself and walking into the mist.
Coughing, sputtering, water leaving the lungs. Solstice woke rather violently. Her gaze was foggy, and she was no doubt freezing and cold. She coughed one last time and slowly stood up to shake her fur. When her eyesight came back to her she gazed around at those around her. Three wolves, one of them a pup, and two cougars... very random group... Solstice merely smiled as if nothing had happened and bowed her head to them. " Hello all I'm Solstice, a Custos-Scientia of a distant pack." She said with almost perfect grace. Her light blue eyes looked at each one of them in turn. Solstice could defiantly tell she wasn't in the same pack grounds as before, just by the way they all presented themselves.

Kohen watched as Isis left his side for the first time since they'd met. Tilting his head, he felt a sense of warmth to see her caring ways. Watching as the female curled up next to the wolf he had once though was deceased. When Solstice awake, Kohen seemed taken back by the sudden life and by the fact she was already speaking. Such a trooper, perhaps. Nevertheless, he'd let his almost regal ways shine through as he padded over to meet the female wolf. Giving her a grin, "And I am Kohen, quite a tumble you took, no?" A bit of a chuckle was followed by the words. For Kohen, as usual, thought he was quite funny.
Tail flicking and twitching behind him, eyes then go to Raissa and Lhucky. Oh they'd seemed to be getting closer, there was no doubt about this. It made his lips pull into even more of a grin at the sight, Sweeny would have a family. Two parents, loving and brave, to take care of him. Rolling his shoulders, the big cat quickly goes back to the white furred female. Quickly taking a seat near Isis, although he isn't terribly close either. It is not, because he does not wish to be beside her, oh no. But for Kohen, it is more respectful, to introduce himself to this female without introducing anyone else. In a way, it makes some sort of sense, atleast it does to Kohen.

Raissa's mahogany eyes watch from her curled place there around Sweeny, flickering from body to body, her mouth is hidden but her eyes speak plenty. She'll never say she'd pulled Solstice free, nor will she begrudge if someone else takes the credit, for she knows what she has done and that is enough. It satisfies her to know she's done something useful to some degree, though at the cost of protecting her own son. Terrible mother....
It's good this new female was alright with the proximity of the cougars. At her waking Raissa had turned a glare to Lhucky, to see if he should know who she was. His face said nothing of prior friendship and she was settled. Who is this Solstice, why had she fallen into the Bamos, and what made it so, her mind reels and spins asking itself questions.

Lhucky quietly shushed Raissa as she began to fool herself into believing that she was not a good mother. She saved his son from death, and have been raising Sweeny for some time now. Clearly.. she was a better mother than she'd thought. This would come in due time, for he could not argue to the death with her about how her parenting is other than giving her unconditional love whenever he could. After the rescue, Raissa had returned to her rightful place next to him and Sweeny, where she belonged for good. Leaning forward, he whispered lightly, "You're more beautiful than ever, now Momma." he said in hopes it'd lift her spirits. He could tell she was not feeling all that well whether it was mentally or physically. A smirk painted upon his muzzle now, tail wagging lightly. He looked down at the slumbering pup who's face was now buried in Raissa's fur as he dreamed. Lhucky looked up at Solstice, who has spoken and greeted everyone like nothing had happened. "I am Lhucky. This is my uh..." he stuttered a bit for he hadn't known what to call Raissa yet. It was only right to introduce her for what he felt in his heart, so he whole-heartedly went for it with no regrets, "And this is my mate Raissa and our son, Sweeny." he said to the female as she seemed a bit uneasy around everyone. ---- Isis's eyes widened a bit as the female awoke and jumped up like she hadn't almost just died in front of the group. Perhaps... she was embarrassed? Whatever it was, she knew not to bring it up... But her newfound... love? brought it up instead, for he seemed to be the one to be Captain Obvious. Though... Isis rather liked it and hoped he'd be around for a long period of time to share many more memories with her. Honey brown eyes looked at Kohen with a soft look, for she may be falling for the large Cougar. Falling for him? Yes... this was something serious for her but she did not wish to alarm him. Perhaps.. he felt it too? Time would tell.. but for now she enjoyed what she had with him and did not take a moments time with him for granted.

Solstice nodded at them all, her smile never fading. She turned slowly and went to the shore again, only this time to drink from the waters. She looked back at the crowd and tilted her head. " Two cougars, two wolves, and a pup.... Very weird combination." Solstice said with a flick of her tail and she walked back to the group and sat down." Solstice continued to watch them, memorizing their names for further reference. " Ya I suppose it was a bit of a tumble, but that is in the past, and lets face it... if you spend every moment staring behind you, your bound to run into something eventually." She said with a slight chuckle, it made sense to her and that's what matters.

Isis nodded, for she agreed that this slew of creatures in one place... not only that but working in unison. Sighing deeply, she replied, "This is true, you'd better keep yourself on your toes though. Winter is approaching vastly and you'd better not get caught in a storm being that clumsy." she said as she cocked her large caramel skull, for she still was not sure how to deal with this newcomer, Solstice. Was she a good soul? This, she could not tell. "I am Isis." she said, feeling like she should not continue too much farther before she got herself in a hole she could not get out of. She usually was good at small talk, but this was not turning out the way she had hoped, for she had too just wandered into the strange gathering too. She was just lucky enough to find Kohen, making her heart feel a bit more complete than before.

Solstice smiled and tilted her head. Her blue eyes looking at each of them in turn. " You all don't have to be so tense, I'm not dangerous... matter of fact I'm supposed to be dead." She said with a smile, as if nothing was wrong. Her gaze switched to over her shoulder as she looked up towards where she came. " You guys seem a lot nicer than the wolves in the other pack." She muttered slowly while turning back to the group.
